After a two-year search, Trinity Lutheran has “adopted” a new hiking trail located in Petrifying Springs Park. The new trail is located adjacent to the Highway A entrance of Pets (off of Green Bay Road) and continues north to Highway KR. The new boardwalk and paved trail are scheduled to open in June. Per Kenosha County guidelines, Trinity will assist in the upkeep of the trail. Kenosha County Parks Dept. will also provide two signs recognizing Trinity’s commitment and involvement. Please find a copy of the “Adopt-a-Trail” sign on the bulletin board outside the gathering space. More information regarding this project and volunteering needs will be posted closer to the completion date. “Adopt-a-Trail” is an excellent opportunity to the show our support to this community.  Gayle Schwartz, Chairperson, Youth, Family and Church Ministry
