This service is shaped by traditional Lutheran liturgy yet uses contemporary language and song selection. While some organ accompaniment occurs, piano is featured. The Triune God’s desire to be in relationship with creation, meeting us where we are at is emphasized to create a relational, grace-filled worship experience for the whole family. Worship leaders do not wear robes or vestments. A children’s message is included and children in grades K-6 leave the service following the Children’s message (and before the sermon) for Sunday School. For those raised in the faith, this service will be familiar in form but more relaxed in language and music. For those new to the faith, this service will provide an opportunity to experience God through a Christian worship service in a traditional setting yet in a relaxed and relational atmosphere.
